With its exceedingly high-performing 1800W ATX power supply the chassis is designed for up to 120 amperes at 12 volts.
One of the outstanding features of the development chassis is the cooling system. Up to ten high-power fans are integrated to ensure sufficient cooling for every conceivable application of the boards. Standout features are its high application flexibility and the power supply unit.
Optionally our all-new SOSA™ aligned 7 slot VPX backplane designed for 100Gbit/s Ethernet can be integrated into the chassis. Because the new development chassis plus our new, first SOSA™ aligned backplane are the perfect fit.
Another option for this development chassis is our new VITA 46.11 compliant chassis manager. The chassis manager communicates via an i2C bus with all components and higher-level processes in the operating environment. The chassis can therefore also provide numerous management and communication functions in accordance with the VITA 46.11 standard.
